Sam Ciamacco, the sole inventor of the portfolio, is an experienced medical device engineer with experience in coronary angioplasty catheters, neurovascular catheters, and intravascular stents. He has worked or otherwise provided services to Medtronic Vascular as an R&D Engineer for new product development, for Medgination which became X-Technologies and was later acquired by Guidant, and for YMed which was acquired by Bard.
