Stephanie Cervantes Joins Linksource Technologies Team

Bringing Stephanie Cervantes on as Security and Privacy Strategist was a deliberate move on behalf of Linksource Technologies. With her vast experience and reputation in the security and privacy realms, clients will not only gain tremendous value, but also peace of mind knowing their security concerns are in exceptional care.
Stephanie joined LinkSource Technologies after retiring from a distinguished career in CA government. She has been a Chief Security Architect for the largest public sector pension fund in the world; managed technical security testing for two large State of CA ERP projects, along with quality assurance for one of the projects. Stephanie also started the first Privacy Office for one of the tax entities; revamped an aging information security program and served as a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO); and has served on many State and Federal level security policy development groups and advisory boards. She has served as the Chief IT Security Officer for the nations largest pubic sector law firm and law enforcement entity. Stephanie is the founder of the CA Inter-Agency Security Group, which she chaired for 20 years, as well as a founding member and current Board Member of the Sacramento Chapter of InfraGard, a public/private sector alliance between the FBI and critical infrastructure.
Through her work with InfraGard Stephanie received an FBI Director’s Award for Exceptional Service in the Public Interest from FBI Director Robert Mueller in 2011. As a result of her work and leadership in State Government she received an Information Security Leadership Award in 2014 in recognition of her outstanding contribution to the Information Security Community.
Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government from California State University, Sacramento and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) and Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT) certifications.
