NEW YORK, Dec. 16, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- As part of an ongoing global expansion plan, Sterling has recruited aviation logistics specialist Lanny Schindelmeiser as Vice President - APAC to support clients' mission-critical logistics requirements in the Asia-Pacific region. Lanny will be responsible for developing strategic expansion plans for the region and enhancing Sterling's operational and customer service capabilities.
Based in Singapore, he brings a wealth of aviation logistics experience, as well as a deep understanding of the APAC marketplace. Mr. Schindelmeiser has over 26 years of aviation experience, and will provide customized solutions for aircraft manufacturers, commercial and business aircraft operators, as well as maintenance and repair organizations, in order to optimize their supply chain and minimize aircraft downtime.
Mr. Schindelmeiser has worked in various management positions in aerospace logistics throughout his career. He recently held the position of Group Leader Customer Support at Mitsubishi Aircraft in Japan, General Manager of Metro Jet LTD in Hong Kong, and General Manager at Bombardier Tianjin Aviation Services in China.
