SEATTLE, Feb. 2, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Veteran voice-actor Steve Lawson was the featured talent in a commercial broadcast today during the Big Game.
While not aired on the Fox Network which broadcast the Big Game, the commercial ran between the hours of 3:30-5:00 pm Pacific Time on Animal Planet, The Weather Channel, TV Land and WE TV on the Comcast Seattle/Eastside cable zone. Which means that the commercial technically did air during the Big Game.
Just not on the network that carried the Big Game.
According to Lawson, "I could have waited patiently in my professional home studio, equipped with a Sennheiser 416 microphone, Apollo-Twin pre-amp (with Avalon VT-737sp Channel Strip), Adobe Audition, Source Connect, ISDN, ipDTL and phone patch capabilities to be hired by an ad agency or production company to voice a commercial that would air during the Big Game, but I figured, why wait? I can do this myself. So, I did."
Lawson's wife Debbie whose voice also appears in the commercial said, "I told him so many people are going to be pissed off at you. But he persisted!"
Lawson has voiced commercials, promos and corporate narrations for many of the world's largest corporations, including CNN, Microsoft, Apple, US Bank, Nike, HBO/Cinemax and The Disney Channel in Asia among others.
Lawson is represented by Access Talent in New York, AB2 Talent in Los Angeles, In Both Ears in Portland and Topo Swope in Seattle. See the commercial and hear Lawson's demos at stevelawsonvoice.com.
