Today MDR, a division of Dun & Bradstreet, announced the appointment of Steve Palm as general manager. An education and marketing industry veteran, Palm brings more than 20 years of experience in strategy, business expansion and innovation to MDR, the leader in connecting corporations, nonprofits and foundations to the education community through an unparalleled ability to reach, engage and activate educators.
Most recently, Palm was CEO and president at NewBay, a provider of information and marketing services in the consumer electronics, entertainment and education markets. Under his leadership, NewBay expanded through innovation, acquisition and new business development, growing its digital, event, content marketing and international offerings to create a market leading, service-focused enterprise.
Prior to NewBay, Palm was group vice president of Scholastic, where he established and led Scholastic Marketing Partners (SMP), a marketing services, data, research and media platform serving education, consumer and government audiences. Under his leadership, SMP expanded into digital advertising, government services, school fundraising and events/conferences.
