DALLAS, April 12, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Southwest Solutions Group, a Dallas-based company that sells B2B storage and efficiency products, recently presented a $6,000 donation to charitable organization Unbound North Texas. The donation will help the organization purchase a high-density storage unit for The Underground, a drop-in youth center operated by the organization.
The Underground is the first youth drop-in center in Tarrant County. Its mission is to provide support and services to youth in need up to age 22. The center provides light meals, showers, laundry facilities, rest areas, and referrals to services.
According to The Underground's website, "Assured of their safety, youth sleep, eat, unwind through recreational activity, and have an opportunity to receive services as our advocates help facilitate their next steps, whether that is returning home, rehab, shelter, or other long-term residential option."
The high-density storage unit that Unbound North Texas will purchase will store donated clothing, shoes, toiletries, and more to be made available to those in need.

One of the primary demographics of The Underground is trafficked youth. According to the drop-in center's website, 75% of trafficked youth are exploited for two or more years before being recovered or identified, while 50% of these youth were 14 or under when the exploitation started.
