CINCINNATI, Jan. 15, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Strategic Franchising Systems (SFS), which manages five national franchise systems, is pleased to announce that the company has hired Peter McKnight as its new Chief Financial Officer. He will provide financial leadership and oversight to all five affiliated franchise brands: Caring Transitions, Fresh Coat Painters, Pet Wants, The Growth Coach, and TruBlue Total House Care, as well as Franchise Funding Group, an affiliated franchise development and investing company.
"We are excited to have Pete join our multi-brand organization as our CFO. Pete's financial expertise and well-rounded business experiences will be crucial to the future development of our organization, allowing us to harness the power of technology, analytics, and trends to streamline and scale our franchise businesses even more efficiently and effectively. Additionally, his leadership and ability to drive results will greatly benefit the development of our staff and the businesses of our franchise owners. With Pete's unique abilities, we are confident he will help elevate our accounting and financial reporting systems, as well as our data analytics practices, to produce additional tools, training and coaching methods to further support the financial success of our franchise owners," SFS President and COO Chris Seman said.
McKnight earned his bachelor's degree in business administration and management from Albion College and his MBA from the University of Dayton. His most leadership roles have all been in accounting and finance, most recently as the CFO for Jackmont Hospitality, a foodservice management company and multi-unit franchise operator. McKnight was interested in joining the SFS team because of the opportunity to work across five varied brands, including some that are more established and others on the cusp of massive growth.
"Working with franchise owners at different stages of maturity with a wide variety of backgrounds, business needs and growth opportunities is both an exciting challenge and opportunity. At a high level, this position gives me the opportunity to interact with investors and work with the various leadership teams, my staff, and the franchise owners on becoming more efficient, more profitable and, overall, more successful," McKnight said.
In addition to this role in financial leadership, McKnight is also working with the franchise development and recruiting teams to deeper analyze investments, automation, and lead generation results to better target and attract the best franchise candidates possible to meet the growing demands for their service brands in cities across America.
"We are looking forward to doing things in the smartest and most efficient ways possible to create additional value and success for all of our stakeholders, starting first with our franchise owners, and then our corporate employees, vendors/suppliers, and our investors," McKnight said.
