SAN FRANCISCO and ATLANTA, May 16, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Stratodesk, the leader in end user computing solutions for VDI, DaaS and IoT, announced today its complete integration with the NVIDIA Jetson platform. This solution will complement Stratodesk's already well received Raspberry Pi offerings for VDI and IoT. The Jetson Nano, powered by Stratodesk NoTouch OS, will be on display at this year's Citrix Synergy in Atlanta, GA (May 21-23), further proving Stratodesk's place at the zenith of EUC and IoT innovation. It also designates Stratodesk as the first ever EUC vendor to present a Linux based "thin" OS for the Jetson Nano.
The Jetson Nano fits a full suite of ports and 40 GPIO pins on a relatively small motherboard. The Nano is powered by a 1.4-GHz quad-core ARM A57 CPU, 128-core Nvidia Maxwell GPU and 4 GB of RAM. It has four USB type-A ports, including one that is USB 3.0, both HDMI and DisplayPort out for video and a gigabit Ethernet connector.
Powering the Jetson Nano not only shows Stratodesk software's versatility – it also demonstrates the company's unwavering commitment to creating reliable and useful solutions for both enterprise VDI and IoT. What's more, this solution stands out as a truly herculean feat of technological breakthrough: it brings NVIDIA's advanced AI proficiency into the Stratodesk NoTouch ecosystem.
This in effect enables system administrators and developers around the world to easily and seamlessly integrate groundbreaking innovations, deep learning and neural networks into a fully manageable and standardized endpoint deployment at an affordable price.
Furthermore, the Jetson Nano is centrally manageable via Stratodesk's intuitive and powerful endpoint administration solution, NoTouch Center. NoTouch Center allows enterprises to manage both ARM and x86 devices seamlessly in the same network whether they are used near to home, or around the world. This affords enterprises the unparalleled agility needed to comprehend truly astounding use cases that before its time would not have been possible.
"We're excited to see what additional use cases our latest integration can solve" says Stratodesk CEO, Emanuel Pirker. "It is truly an advanced IoT solution, and opens up areas way beyond end user computing. This integration positions Stratodesk in a unique spot at the forefront of both the IoT and VDI markets alike with our OS and device management competency."
"Our ability to power the NVIDIA Jetson Nano device proves the versatility of NoTouch OS," says Hernan Contreras, Sales Director US and LATAM at Stratodesk, remarking on the latest addition to the Stratodesk family of supported hardware. "Not only do we have the ability to power just about any x86 device on the market, we've added yet another ARM based device to our repertoire. Citrix customers will love to hear they can manage their Citrix Ready Workspace Hubs from the same console as their ThinPrint Hubs, IoT Jetson and Raspberry Pis as well traditional Thin Clients and repurposed PCs. We show it at Citrix Synergy this year at our booth #405."
Today, organizations are successfully deploying Stratodesk powered IoT devices, as seen in the Stratodesk Citrix Ready workspace hub, and its integration with additional IoT devices. Powering the Jetson Nano is a natural evolvement spurred by the excitement shown by companies and organizations over these advanced endpoints. In addition to the Jetson Nano and the workspace hub, Citrix Synergy attendees can expect to see at Synergy Booth #405 the All-in-One Thin Client Monitor from LG running Stratodesk software and learn about their recent partnership with Liquidware.
Stratodesk is redefining endpoint computing by delivering a single endpoint solution for VDI, DaaS and IoT markets. Stratodesk's cutting edge linux-based endpoint OS and management suite, NoTouch, is a next generation, hardware-agnostic solution that enables companies to cost-effectively manage their endpoints.
