Rudolf Detter, Head of IT at Travel Europe, knows a good thing when he sees it. For this reason, Travel Europe was one of the first adopters of Stratodesk software. Before Virtual Desktop Infrastructure had broken into the mainstream – in fact, before smartphones were even commonly used – Stratodesk and Travel Europe believed in the power of the next generation VDI technology. Travel Europe has been successfully involved in incoming European tourism for more than 30 years providing inclusive coach and air packages, head office support from over 120 employees and a network of 15 offices throughout Europe with over 80 staff providing local support. The family-owned company based in Stans, near Innsbruck/Austria, has grown from a small Tyrolean travel agency into an international tour operator. Highly-qualified employees provide bespoke tour packages for group tours by coach or by air (using in-house charter flights) throughout Europe, Jordan and Israel.
