New additions reinforce Strongpoint's commitment to building the infrastructure its partner firms need to grow in their local markets, serving a rapidly expanding advisor and employer client base across a coast-to-coast network
CHICAGO, Sept. 17, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Strongpoint Partners ("Strongpoint"), a tech-enabled retirement services platform serving small- to mid-sized businesses with integrated retirement third-party administration, recordkeeping, payroll, and HR solutions, announced a series of additions to its Partner Services team spanning sales, operations, strategic partnerships, marketing, and events. The hires extend the sales organization buildout announced earlier this summer and broadens the commercial infrastructure supporting Strongpoint's 24 partner firms nationwide.
The announcement includes the addition of Mindy O'Connor as Vice President of Strategic Partnerships, Darius Setna as Business Development Representative, Allison Broussely and Meosha Bates as Marketing Engagement Managers, and Whitney Wandland as Events Manager.
"The strength of the Strongpoint platform comes from our people," said Danny Hest, CEO of Strongpoint Partners, "and these additions give our partner firms more capacity, more support, and more ways to grow. We are very fortunate to welcome Mindy, Darius, Allison, Meosha, and Whitney to the Strongpoint family."
O'Connor joins Strongpoint having most recently served as Head of Business Development for Ascensus recordkeeping, where she oversaw PEP, Broker Dealer, DCIO, and TPA partnerships. Her role at Strongpoint will focus on developing and deepening relationships that expand the platform's reach across the retirement and payroll ecosystems. O'Connor brings more than 25 years of experience and will work closely with Strongpoint's national sales leadership and partner firms to identify and build the relationships that support long-term organic growth.
Setna joined Strongpoint as a Business Development Representative and the second team member on the growing internal sales desk and is focused on supporting the dedicated sales representatives in Strongpoint's network to expand advisor and employer relationships across the country.
"We said in June that we were building this organization deliberately, and this is the next step in that plan," said Mike Shamburger, Vice President, Head of National Sales for Strongpoint Partners. "Mindy has spent her career turning strategy into results, and she will help us build the partnerships that open new markets for our firms. Adding Darius to our internal sales desk keeps us on pace with the demand we are seeing across the country."
Strongpoint has also expanded its marketing team with the addition of Bates and Broussely, both joining as Marketing Engagement Managers. The two will support growth across all of Strongpoint's business units, working alongside partner firms on campaigns, advisor and employer engagement, and the marketing programs that feed the sales organization.
"My team has marketed in tech, travel, e-commerce, and consumer packaged goods, and we are bringing those playbooks to retirement services to deliver a best-in-class marketing program at Strongpoint," said Lauren Lillis, Director of Marketing for Strongpoint Partners. "That means 24 partner brands, each with their own unique markets, audiences, and goals, have a marketing strategy tailored for them rather than a version of someone else's. Meosha and Allison are making those programs scale across our network."
Wandland joins Strongpoint as Events Manager, where she will lead the planning and execution of Strongpoint's partner events across the country: a growing program that brings together leadership, sales, and administrative teams from firms in every region of the network.
"Our partner events have become one of the most valuable things we do. When we bring partner presidents together at our annual Strategy and Planning meeting, or our dedicated sales representatives at the Sales Kickoff offsite, we see our core value of Stronger Together come to life: our teams compare notes, share ideas, collaborate together, and ultimately grow faster with a stronger culture and approach," continued Danny Hest, CEO of Strongpoint Partners. "Whitney will make that program bigger and better, and she gives our executive team the capacity to keep up with the pace of this business."
Strongpoint's platform team now supports 24 partner firms from coast to coast, with further expansion to be announced in the months ahead. Firms exploring a partnership, and candidates interested in joining the team, can learn more at strongpointpartners.com.
