OAKLAND, Calif., Oct. 3, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- StructionSite and Procore are expanding the integration of their two leading-edge software solutions to drive success for their users across the construction industry. The latest integration update added to features like automatic photo and drawing syncing and integrated RFIs to help users do more in less time with less work. Now, users can access StructionSite within Procore thanks to Procore's newly launched Embedded App feature.
The Embedded App lets Procore customers, partners, and third-party developers create solutions within Procore that embed directly into the Procore user interface. Embedded Experience Apps improve workflow, simplify application management, and allow users to customize their Procore experience.
Eric Tucker, Business Development Manager at Procore, spoke to the benefits of this expanding integration, saying, "StructionSite has made it easy for project leaders to capture their projects with powerful, digestible 360 imagery and plot it their latest set of drawings to Procore. Last year, they took it one step further by allowing users to create and update RFIs and Observations within a space. With Embedded Experience, this capability is now available to Procore users without ever leaving the Procore app — lowering the barrier for users to get the value of 360 site documentation while running their projects in Procore."
StructionSite's easily implemented reality capture platform, and Procore's construction management platform, are prime examples of the way technology is changing — and improving — the construction industry. Users have long leveraged these two leading construction tech tools to improve transparency, streamline communication, and build successfully. With this new functionality, users can open their StructionSite web application directly in Procore. They are no more switching back and forth between tabs on a desktop. Everything users need in one convenient location.
"Integrating StructionSite into Procore has made a previously complicated multiple step process much more streamlined for our project teams, helping them save time and frustration when needing to view a photo." - John Andres, Operations Technology Manager, Andres Construction
Matt Daly, CEO at StructionSite, believes these new features help users increase efficiency and get more value out of both software solutions. He says, "Allowing for a more collaborative environment, StructionSite being accessible directly within the Procore platform allows project teams to realize the value of a jobsite completely blanketed in 360 photos and videos. As a believer in open integration, we hope to see more platforms follow Procore's lead to give project teams more streamlined workflows to realize the benefits of 360 documentation - reduced drywall and concrete rework, overall enhanced communication and reduced conflict."
