Expands Operating Hours due to Attendance Increases and Popularity of Private Auditorium Rentals

Studio Movie Grill (“SMG”) is offering up to (4) FREE tickets per order with SMG website and app bookings now through Sunday, July 26 as a way of showing appreciation.

“As the theater industry and our communities continue to face challenges, we want to change the narrative by giving back. SMG is pleased to offer free tickets to those wanting to escape for a few hours and enjoy a shared and safe experience at the movies this weekend,” offered Founder/CEO Brian Schultz.

To receive the free ticket offer, anyone interested can create a free SMG Access loyalty account and enter the promo code SMG4FREE on studiomoviegrill.com or (20807010000007) on the SMG App. This offer is reusable and shareable now through Sunday, July 26 at all currently open SMG Theaters.

All reopened SMG’s are offering customizable private auditoriums for $200. The rental includes the entire auditorium, luxury recliners in most locations, a choice from 100+ classic movies or guests can bring their own content. Freshly prepared food from the SMG restaurant and full-service bar is available to add-on. “It’s exciting to note that many people are booking 2nd and 3rd auditorium rentals, which is a testament to the experience,” said Tonya Mangels, Head of Revenue & Marketing. “Guests are consistently sharing positive feedback about the great service, reassurance with social distancing, the experience for their kids and families, and how it gave them some sense of normalcy.”

SMG is also increasing operating hours in several locations, offering showtimes Monday-Thursday 3pm-9pm and now expanding Friday-Sunday hours from 12pm-10pm.

Offering a broad range of film content to serve guests’ diverse interests, despite the lack of new releases from major studios, SMG has over 100 classic titles in rotation including fan favorites such as ‘A Star is Born’, ‘Pokemon Detective Pikachu’ and the ‘Harry Potter Series’; and is also showing a robust lineup of exciting, high quality new releases from smaller independent studios.
