Study.com is excited to announce that Michael Schmier has joined the team as Chief Product Officer. In this position, Schmier will lead product innovation across the Study.com learning platform.
Most recently, Schmier led the development of next generation virtual reality experiences as VP and GM of Samsung’s 360 and VR video platform. He previously held product leadership roles at BabyCenter (acquired by Johnson & Johnson) and Thuuz Sports, among others. Schmier currently serves as the vice chairman of the board of directors for GreatSchools.org, a leading national nonprofit dedicated to improving education with data by empowering 40 million parents to unlock educational opportunities for their children. Schmier brings extensive leadership experience combining product management, content and technology to drive forward Study.com’s mission of making education affordable, effective and engaging.
