Succeed Management Solutions, LLC Introduces Four New Online Training Courses for Commercial Motor Vehicles Drivers
Portland, Oregon (PRWEB) October 12, 2016 -- Succeed Management Solutions, LLC has released four training courses covering Hours of Service, Driver Fatigue, Distracted Driving, and Rollover Prevention for Cargo Truck Drivers, designed to train employees on how to operate a commercial motor vehicle safely and achieve compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations. Organizations that do not adequately train employees are not acting in accordance with the required hours of service laws and jeopardizing the safety of their employees and other drivers on the road.
This summer, a trucking company fired a driver for refusing to violate safety regulations. The driver encountered severe weather and was worried he couldn’t complete his delivery without violating the hours of service laws. He managed to arrange for another driver to complete delivery, but his company fired him. They now owe him more than $276,000 in back wages and damages as well as reinstatement (from OSHA News Release, 06/08/2016). It is crucial that organizations comply with the hours of service rule to prevent the risk of serious injuries or fatalities on the road.
