My Positive Perspective Hosts Episode Informing People of a True Princess Summer Camp With Irene Rose
Charleston, SC (PRWEB) May 05, 2015 -- On May, 5, 2015, My Positive Perspective host Jason Deierlein broadcast an episode with Charleston musician Irene Rose about alternatives for youngsters to do this summer. As the episode began, Deierlein asked Rose, “How did you get the idea for starting a summer camp and how is it going to work?” Rose replies, “I run an entertainment company called Once Upon a Party and I come to children’s birthday parties and teach them moral lessons through songs and even scripture. We play games, sing, and dance and have a great time as the children learn lessons they can apply later in their lives. I thought why only do this once a year, when summer can be a down time for children and parents, so I wanted to try doing this in the summer.”
Deierlein then asks, “What are some of the moral lessons you teach the kids?” Rose answers, “We want to teach the children that having a beautiful heart is something that is not just on the outside. Being beautiful can be about being kind and giving. Treating people the way you would want to be treated.” Rose continues, “Doing service projects for your community is another thing that scripture tells us is another thing that makes us beautiful.”
Deierlein then says, “Teaching children these lessons when they’re young is very important, could you comment on this?” Rose says, “Every young girl wants to be beautiful, and when they learn these lessons they believe in them and incorporate them into their behavior.”
My Positive Perspective is a media outlet believing that improvement in our community will be best achieved by focusing on the good things happening in our world today. Having survived a near fatal car accident as a youth, a shift of perception forced one to have a mentality of always concentrating on the brighter sides of things. This was true, and in my book, Return From a Comatose Mind, this belief was put to the test. Appreciation for life was the biggest thing one took away from my brush with death, and it is because of that gives me such a huge desire to be helpful to many. My Positive Perspective is a way of overcoming challenges through positive thinking.
