Summer Program Demonstrates Results in Successfully Reducing Stress in Teens
SAN DIEGO (PRWEB) March 23, 2018 -- Teens who attend learning and life skills programs operated by SuperCamp are reporting significant improvements in several areas that can reduce their stress in school, at home and in their personal lives.
In its annual survey of graduates of their summer programs, SuperCamp reports that 81 percent of graduates feel more confident in their daily lives, 93 percent cite improved peer relationships, 77 percent indicate they have improved family relationships, 73 percent have noticeably better grades and 77 percent go on to 4-year colleges.
These results demonstrate that SuperCamp is positively impacting teens in areas directly relating to their biggest stress factors, which, in research by the American Psychological Association, are school, getting into a good college, deciding what to do after high school, relationships, friend problems and family concerns.
“Stress is an even bigger issue for teens today than it is for their parents. That’s why what we do to empower teens with techniques and a mindset to build their confidence and put them more in control of their lives is so important,” states SuperCamp co-founder and president, Bobbi DePorter.

Four U.S. colleges, including Stanford and Villanova, will be host sites this summer for SuperCamp, which includes 6-day and 10-day programs. Students reside on campus for the duration of each camp. Their use of digital devices is limited to 15 minutes each day to further enhance focus and interaction.
