Summers team members will answer calls this Friday, Oct. 23, as the K99.1FM Cares for Kids Radiothon celebrates its 29th year supporting Dayton Children's Hospital.
DAYTON, Ohio, Oct. 23, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Summers Plumbing Heating & Cooling is excited to participate for the first time in the K99.1FM Cares for Kids Radiothon as the Phone Bank Sponsor, this Friday, Oct. 23. In addition to its sponsorship, Summers team members will volunteer during the event, answering phone calls and speaking with callers who pledge their support for Dayton Children's Hospital.
K99.1FM Cares for Kids Radiothon: Friday, Oct. 23, 6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
Established in 1997, the Radiothon is celebrating its 29th year. The annual event gives the community a way to help provide above-and-beyond care for kids throughout the region. Listeners are encouraged to call in, make a pledge, and become a Miracle Maker.
Thanks to generous sponsors and listeners, the K99.1FM Cares for Kids Radiothon has raised nearly $6.3 million since its inception. Every dollar raised stays local, supporting children throughout the Miami Valley who depend on Dayton Children's for medical and mental health care. Dayton Children's believes all children deserve world-class care close to home in child-friendly facilities, regardless of their family's ability to pay, and no child is ever turned away.
