TAMPA, Fla. (PRWEB) December 10, 2020
Today, Super Squares®, the live mobile game show that launches Advertising as a Sport™, announces the latest version of its app to now provide real-time second screen engagement with NFL games. The new 3.0 version is ready to play for tonight’s game between the New England Patriots and Los Angeles Rams. The app introduces sports fans to adrenalized live reactive gamification, enhanced by a revolutionary, patent-protected blend of sports prediction and score matching excitement.
Super Squares®, which launched out of beta in May 2020, is the first reactive product showcasing the symbiosis between branding and gamification, by having fans make three predictions about a particular game, react to and rate two sponsor ads and quizzes, to then claim the player’s first Super Square. The live game show app provides consumers an opportunity to “get in the game” and will ultimately allow sports fans around the world to engage with sports, no matter the league. Fans are prompted to answer questions about the in-app mobile TV commercials and are rewarded for being correct, which provides a reaction and participating brands and agencies with census-level verified fan engagement and sentiment, measurable over time. Sponsors obtain a mini-focus group from every exposure.
Now, the free-to-play Super Squares® 3.0 version allows players to engage with every NFL game supported by the app, every hour. Since the second screen app syncs with games regardless of broadcast network, players now can use a single app to “Predict, React and Square Up™” to every evening football matchup, as well as most of the games in the full NFL Sunday lineup.
For the remaining games of the 2020 NFL regular season, Super Squares® players and their ‘Buddies’ will have the opportunity to win two never-before awarded Rivian electric adventure vehicle grand prizes valued at over $80,000 each. Additionally, Super Squares® will be awarding over $30,000 a week in guaranteed prizes, and the ability to win up to $200,000 for having the “Perfect Game,” to winners and their ‘Buddies.’ Through its viral ‘Buddy’ program, winners and their Buddy (the player who first introduced the winner to Super Squares®) will take home identical prizes. In December, when a winner has no Buddy, React, the company behind Super Squares®, will donate 50% of the cash value of prizes to the Gridiron Greats, a 501c3 set up to provide grants and pro bono medical assistance to retired NFL players in dire need.
"Gridiron Greats is about helping and assisting those former NFL players who are in dire need of basic human needs such as food, shelter, and health care” said Matt Birk, chairman of Gridiron Greats, retired NFL player and commissioner of sports for React. “When Mike Ditka started GGAF over 15 years ago, he implored all of us former players in the NFL brotherhood to "Do the Right Thing". The organization would not exist if it weren't for the empathy and generosity of organizations like React LLC. As Chairman of the Board of Gridiron Great Assistance Fund, we are extremely appreciative to be the charity partner of Super Squares. Fans will benefit from this exciting new game, and it's fitting that the men who helped build this league into what it is today will be served as well."
“Through our live game show and Predicter Square™ platform, we put marketers directly in touch with their audiences with adrenalized ads that get watched and measured with census-level verified ROI on ad spend and category exclusivity” said Frank Maggio, founder and CEO of React. “This allows casual and avid sports fans the opportunity to win exceptional prizes and brands to uncover data and insights that they wouldn’t receive otherwise. I felt so strongly that our prizes needed to stand out, that I’m personally contributing the Rivian electric vehicles that I’ve been waiting years to receive, so they can experience the excitement.”
With Super Squares®, sports fans are incentivized to use their second screen devices, regarded by many as ‘tools of distraction,’ to instead become more engaged by watching a brand’s commercial, and then answering questions about it alongside the game they are watching. The app is free to download and play, and allows for an opportunity to win prizes while players are learning about brands, being entertained and rewarded, and competing with friends and players from across the country. During the broadcast, fans remain engaged with the incentive of winning money and prizes for matching their Super Squares (a cluster of 4 score combinations) to the score and comparing their three ‘Predicters’ to the ultimate outcomes. By the end of the game, Super Squares® and its partner brands know which ads work better, and which ads are fan favorites.
In addition to the viral Buddy system, the Super Squares® Virtual SkyBox platform connects fans who want to share NFL game experiences with their friends but are unable to because of COVID-19 or lockdown restrictions. Super Squares® lets players create a Virtual SkyBox where they invite friends and family to share their game experience, competing with and against each other for bragging rights, similar to fantasy sports. Through these new forms of virtual shared experiences, fans can still enjoy the excitement of watching football with their friends, similar to their experiences at game parties, tailgates and pub gatherings, but in a “socially distanced” manner.
