(PRWEB UK) 1 October 2015 -- Drawing inspiration from music, fashion and culture, Supercuts’ new collection throws all the rules out the window, with cool uncompromising styling perfect for the 21st century trend-setter.
Supercuts’ recently appointed creative director, Kieron Fowles has provided the styling for the innovative new collection. He explains his inspiration behind each of the looks:
Babydoll
Teaming gorgeous playful texture with a super-fashionable bob, the Babydoll look is perfect for the girl next door, but with a stiking rebellious edge.
Silver, aluminium and pewter tones add an icy shimmer to the hair, with colour pockets of electric blue providing that ‘fresh from the catwalk’ finish.
Using loose texture and soft curls adds volume and glossy shine through the hair, with a striking statement fringe swept off the face to complete the look.
Vogue
The ultimate in flawless fashion, the Vogue is never afraid to stand out from the crowd, pairing free-flowing tousled waves with a splash of vibrant rainbow colour.
Using one of the hottest new colour trends for the season - marbling, stylists can build up multi-tonal shades through the hair, creating splashes of iridescent pastel colour.
Finish the look by combining an on-trend centre parting with relaxed waves for effortless, lived in texture.
Rhed
The beautiful rebel who refuses to play by the rules, Rhed draws on edgy punk-rock inspiration in order to stay one step ahead of the crowd.
The short choppy crop is the ultimate trend-setting style, using deep contrasting reds to accentuate the textured androgynous cut. Blend a burnt orange base colour with sections of cherry magenta for a bold, striking finish.
Chopping sections into the hair with blunt, angular lines will help frame the face and provide a fresh contemporary texture to the look.
McQueen
Inspired by the classic 70s Teddy Boy pompadour, McQueen puts a modern twist on the rockabilly quiff with a short fade and wearable texture.
Moving away from the highly shaped and structured trend for gents, this look is all about creating a more natural, lived in feel, allowing movement and versatility in the hair.
Using an innovative new colouring technique, take the hair a few shades lighter than its natural hue to accentuate the definition and give it an irresistible, glossy shine.
