DETROIT, Sept. 3, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- At a time when superstition ruled the world, babies born with abnormalities were put to death. Alexandrus and Lucretia, wealthy Romans, chose to keep their twins, who were born with terrible afflictions, and they are cursed for their decision.
"Blessing or Curse" takes place in ancient Rome in the 390s BC, when the city is about to be invaded by the Gauls. Because the family flouted tradition, able to raise their children with the protections a prominent senator could provide, they are blamed for the impending doom about to befall the city.
Despite their treatment, Alexandrus and Lucretia rise to the occasion and do what they can for their homeland. This inspiring story deals with the heartbreak of parents torn between loving their children and supporting their brethren.
