Long Battery Life – Try to find a camera that has up to 12 hours of battery life to help ensure it will stick with you when you need it most.
Drop Resistant – Having a durable unit is important. Your body camera should have a drop resistant rating. Look to make sure that rating is up to six feet, to ensure it is built for rugged use.
Stealth Mode – Needing to be discreet? Some body cameras feature a stealth mode where you can turn off all of the lights. This should come with a vibration mode when the camera is activated letting you know the camera is recording.
Charging Cradle – Many body cameras on the market do not come with a charging cradle, which hampers ease of use. You should be able to simply dock the body camera and charge it immediately.
