SAN MATEO, Calif. (PRWEB) January 23, 2020
CSIRO US, the North American innovation center for CSIRO, Australia’s pre-eminent national science organization, today announced that Susan Lucas-Conwell, Executive Vice President, has been asked to speak at the Fifth Annual Global Corporate Venture & Innovation Summit on January 29th at The Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel & Spa in Monterey, California.
Lucas-Conwell has been invited back for a second year to speak as part of the Executive Leadership Briefing track; a by invitation-only track for senior corporate venture and innovation executives. She will participate in the discussion on challenges and opportunities for corporate innovation as viewed from a global research institution perspective.
“We all know 2020 signals the era of change and opportunity for the global corporate community. The role that they are now playing to advance technology and help young companies develop is integral to the entire innovation ecosystem. With more multinationals requiring insights on best practices to help professionalize and sophisticate their approach to sourcing and capturing innovation, trusted knowledge transfer is critical,” said Christina Riboldi, Executive Producer, Global Corporate Venturing. “Therefore, leaning on individuals like Susan Lucas-Conwell to help shape content and foster information exchange during private, closed-door roundtables for members of the corporate innovation community has been integral to the programs GCV designs. She has been a guiding light to me and others in an effort to propel executive education and individual professional development.”
Over 800 business leaders from corporate venturing and innovation will attend the Summit to discuss strategies for investing, connecting and innovating in the new decade. Conference sessions cover a wide range of topics including how to foster internal innovation, capitalizing on strategic partnerships and emerging global market innovation trends.
“Open Innovation and corporate venturing enable ground-breaking inventions to be brought to market faster and more successfully,” said Lucas-Conwell. “I’m delighted to be invited back to share my experiences in building successful open innovation ecosystems for over three decades.”
