Treasure trove of one-of-a-kind clothing, textiles, and unique gifts
FREDERICK, Md., June 22, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Prepare to be swept away at Sweet Clover the moment you step through their doors. With an impeccable eye for design and a love of vintage, the dynamic duo of sisters Rebekah Johnson and Kim Bowers, along with their beautiful mother Nancy Trout and talented team of designers have curated a shopping experience that celebrates the beauty of both the past and the present.
What started as a passion project quickly turned into a business under their original name – Sweet Clover Barn, which operated for a decade in Frederick County. While the barn was only open once a month, the Downtown Frederick Sweet Clover is open weekly, Thursdays through Sundays. Keeping with the same business model, the shop will be transformed monthly making it a new shopping experience each time you visit.
From the very first glimpse, you'll be captivated by the meticulously styled vignettes throughout the store. Picture yourself gathered around a stunning dining table set for an elegant 8-person soiree or sinking into a sumptuously comfortable sofa while engaging in lively conversations with friends. And don't forget to admire the enchanting fireplace mantels that could grace the cover of any home décor magazine. Every corner you explore reveals a treasure trove of one-of-a-kind clothing, textiles, and unique gifts that will leave you feeling inspired. It truly is a must-shop experience at the corner of East & Patrick St in Downtown Frederick.
Reflecting on their journey, owners Rebekah and Kim share, "Small business ownership is an exciting challenge. Hard work and a love for this industry kept us alive through mandatory renovations and a global pandemic. A strong family bond, solid business relationships, beautiful collaborations and community support have made this opportunity possible for us and our team. Frederick is our heart. Owning a shop in downtown has been a dream of ours for many years. We're incredibly proud and grateful for every challenge and triumph that brought us here today."
Sweet Clover is located at 244 E Patrick St in Downtown Frederick. Their doors are open Thursday through Saturday from 11am-7pm, and Sundays from 11am-6pm. For more information, visit sweetcloverstore.com.
