The event, dubbed Swin Summerfest, will feature free live music from local bands, along with food and beverages from local vendors.
ANACORTES, Wash., June 16, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Swinomish Casino & Lodge will host Swin Summerfest, a free outdoor music festival, on July 23. The event will feature live performances from Pacific Northwest-based bands The Afterparty, Midlife Crisis & the Alimony Horns, and The Lowdown Drifters.
"The Afterparty fuses the allure and power of live music with the energy and flow of a skilled DJ," according to the group's website. Their vast repertoire of covers consists of hits from popular artists of the last several decades, including The Beatles, Diana Ross, Queen, Spice Girls, Katy Perry, and more.
Midlife Crisis & the Alimony Horns has been playing together for over 33 years. They perform all over Western Washington, performing their classic rock covers for thousands.
The Lowdown Drifters are a Stanwood-based country band. Since the release of their first album in 2016, they have performed at venues and festivals across the United States and played with top country artists like LeAnn Rimes and Parker McCollum.
Food offerings at Swin Summerfest include Mi Taco Is Your Taco, Ma & Pa Kettle Corn, Wingz & Thingz, and authentic Indian fry bread prepared by members of the Swinomish Tribe. The event will also have a beer garden with selections from Penn Cove Brewing Company, Whitewall Brewing Company, Boundary Bay Brewing Company, and Twin Sisters Brewing Company.
