SWYE360 Learning partners with Digital Promise, Learner Variability Project
K-12 education innovation, learner variability, e-learning, and research to transform education
FRISCO, Texas, Nov. 8, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- SWYE360 has partnered with Digital Promise on their Learner Variability Project and is becoming a thought partner in developing innovative approaches that allow students to engage with content differently. SWYE360 will also have access to a team of experienced researchers and design support from Digital Promise.
SWYE360 Learning is an innovative edtech company that offers an all in one collaborative e-learning platform for school districts to deliver hybrid and or blended learning to students anywhere, synchronously and asynchronously.
"This is exciting for us as we continue to innovate and consider the variability of all learners," says Jacob Makuvire, CEO of SWYE360 Learning. "Our mission is to provide great teaching to all students regardless of their background, geographic location, and or social-economic status. Technology in the hands of great teachers can be transformational and this partnership validates our mission, where educators will be able to integrate research-based learning strategies including Cognition, Social and Emotional Learning, and Student backgrounds."
"We are excited to partner with SWYE360, because we see the potential to positively impact learners, in terms of supporting learner variability, in unique and creative ways. We are aligned in our vision of promoting anywhere anytime learning, fostering learner agency, and embracing a whole child framework as visualized in our Learner Models," says Dr. Trisha Callella.
The Learner Variability Project (LVP) team works at the intersection of researchers, educators, and edtech developers to design and develop a more rich and equitable education for each learner. The learning sciences research foundation of the Learner Models will serve as a signal that SWYE360 is grounded in research-based design. This partnership is intended to focus on the design and development of additional features that serve the whole learner by supporting learner variability across cognitive, social emotional learning, and student background factors.
Digital Promise believes research-based products are the ones that will most likely support the full diversity of learners, because their design is based on valid, empirical research on how people learn.
