“The designer chose two SYNLawn varieties because there was a good contrast between the high and low pile turfs coupled with the texture and color. This was a good base to build from,” said Alex Bergeron, technical director for the McCarter Theatre Center.
To enhance the stage even further, scenic artists painted and distressed parts of the synthetic grass to give it more variety and added artificial foliage of long stalks of grass and clovers.
