Taco Guild Promotes Sam Cavallaro To General Manager
PHOENIX (PRWEB) August 02, 2018 -- Taco Guild, the Phoenix culinary darling nationally regarded as one of the best Mexican restaurants in the US, today announced the promotion of Sam Cavallaro to General Manager. Michael Stone, CEO of Cornbread Ventures LP, owners of Taco Guild, shared the news with Mr. Cavallaro citing his dedication, great vision, and tireless efforts on behalf of the business, its employees, and guests.

As a grade school student, Cavallaro would often be seen running dishes, doing inventory, and helping in the kitchen at his aunt and uncle’s restaurants. He arrived in Phoenix from Kansas City in 2008 dreaming of a career as a bartender. His passion for the industry led him to Z'Tejas where his business acumen, gregariousness, and love for great food and service earned him many responsibilities - from server, to bartender, to hourly manager.
Joining Taco Guild as Bar Manager in 2015, Cavallaro accepts the promotion to General Manager after having worked as Hospitality Manager since early this year. His passion for supporting local and community-driven initiatives has led to fruitful partnerships with beloved Arizona brands and business opportunities that position the restaurant for continued success.

This summer, Cooking Channel’s Michael Symon featured Taco Guild in the Season 4 premiere of Burgers, Brews & ‘Que calling the Coffee Braised Beef Taco in the brunch, lunch, and dinner menu “a true masterpiece.”
