Tails of Courage Moves Into New Headquarters
Danbury, CT (PRWEB) July 19, 2013 -- Tails of Courage recently announced the opening of a new, full-time headquarters at 1 Pembroke Road in Danbury, CT. The new Tails of Courage headquarters will be home to a kennel to house their adoptable pets and meet the public for adoptions. The headquarters will also have meeting spaces to run Tails of Courage’s various programs.
Tails of Courage previously had a temporary home at Passage East Kennels of Wilton, Connecticut. Passage East Kennels housed many dogs waiting to find new, permanent homes. Their staff worked tirelessly to help volunteers with adoptions, accept donations and most care for the dogs as though they were their own pets. Tails of Courage eventually began to outgrow its allotted space at Passage East and decided to make the huge leap to find its own home.
After much work and negotiation, and with the help of Wilcroft Kennels of Danbury, Tails of Courage officially moved into its new headquarters on July 15. Tails of Courage is currently leasing this space, but hopes to raise enough funds to purchase the space for permanent headquarters.
Tails of Courage is in need of some donations to make their new headquarters a true home. They need everything from cleaning and office supplies to towels, blankets, dog bowls and beds, as well as monetary donations. To donate, visit http://www.tailsofcourage.org/donate.
Two upcoming adoption events will be held by Tails of Courage in July. The first will be from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, July 20, at Petsmart, 525 Connecticut Ave., Norwalk, CT. The other will be on Saturday, July 27, from 1-3 p.m. at the same Petsmart location.
