TaKaDu Wins a Four Year Tender With Udal Sareak, Bilbao, Spain
Bilbao, Spain and Yehud, Israel (PRWEB) November 18, 2013 -- TaKaDu announced today the winning of an extension tender with Spanish water utility, Udal Sareak. The utility provides water supply services to a number of municipalities in Bilbao and the Basque Country. In October 2012, it rolled out TaKaDu’s solution. Following a one-year contract which proved TaKaDu’s value, the utility management has decided to continue using TaKaDu’s solution for the long-term.
Since its initial contract with TaKaDu, the utility significantly improved its network control and network efficiency. “With TaKaDu we can easily analyze 100% of our data on a daily basis. It allows us to have high visibility, prioritize issues and improve the response time,” said Mr. Koldo Urkullu, General Manager of Udal Sareak. “Before, we had huge amounts of poor quality data, and it was almost impossible to deal with it. TaKaDu helps us manage this data, and leads to better control of the network."
TaKaDu’s service is provided to the water utility through the support of a local partner, Envirodata, which specializes in cloud services for water utilities. “Udal Sareak works hard to reduce water losses, and I am confident that the TaKaDu solution will become a key contributor to the execution of the utility’s long term plans,” said Mr. Luis Lombana, General Manager of Envirodata.
