Tamarack, Idaho, Dec. 8, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Tamarack Resort is gearing up for its 2020-2021 Season Grand Opening on December 11, when it welcomes the public to skiing and riding seven days a week, complemented by upscale amenities at America's newest Alpine village.
Tamarack just wrapped two weekends of limited operations for passholders, which allowed the resort to refine its enhanced COVID-19 safety protocols, including:
- Face coverings required for all indoor spaces and close proximity outdoors (i.e., lift lines)
- Social distancing of six feet required at all times
- Skiing guests encouraged to use their vehicles for rest and meal breaks
- Limited capacity in all indoor spaces
- Equipment rentals and Sports School guests are encouraged to book online reservations
- Touchless pick-up boxes for Boundless Pass and Express Cards
This season, guests will experience enhanced amenities in The Village — from the newest upscale restaurant in the Idaho mountains (The Reserve) and an outdoor beer garden and food truck (Mountain Bites) to grab-and-go sandwiches and drinks (Village Market). All have been reimagined to provide a safe and enjoyable food and beverage experience.
"In many ways this will be a season unlike any other, and the Tamarack team is committed to ensuring our guests can safely experience the joy of winter recreation along with the delight in discovering a new favorite in The Village," said Tamarack President Scott Turlington.
Recognizing that work and play schedules look different this season, Tamarack is offering midweek Stay & Play packages with free skiing for kids 17 and under.
The Boundless Pass and The Express Card for the 2020-2021 season are still on sale. Guests are encouraged to purchase these passes to guarantee access to the mountain as the sale of single-day lift tickets may be constrained to ensure shorter lines and uncrowded slopes (especially on weekends and holidays) for guests' safety and enjoyment.
