Tamarack Resort Opens New High-speed Wildwood Chairlift
Tamarack, Idaho (PRWEB) December 30, 2019 -- With the buzz of a chainsaw, Tamarack Resort today opened its new high-speed quad chairlift Wildwood Express. More than 300 skiers and riders waving cowbells gathered to celebrate and be among the first to ride the lift.
Slope Surfaces Manager Jeremy Leslie led a team this summer improving the Wildwood terrain, and had the honor of officially opening the lift by wielding a chainsaw to cut a branch in a truly Tamarack ‘ribbon cutting’.
“This is not only a celebration of the grand opening of Wildwood, it’s a celebration of all of our guests and homeowners who’ve been on the journey with us to deliver on the promise of Tamarack,” said Tamarack President Jon Reveal. “Expanding our lift-served terrain, improving our guest services and amenities, and working towards completion of the ski-in, ski out Village at Tamarack are all key to making this the great destination resort it is envisioned to be.”
With the opening of Wildwood Express, guests now have lift-served access to 200 additional acres of the resort’s most consistently pitched intermediate and expert trails along with gladed tree skiing.
