MaintenX executives sponsored and took part in the Golfing Fore Habitat Golf Tournament at Innisbrook Golf Course benefiting Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas and West Pasco Counties.
TAMPA, Fla., Nov. 8, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- MaintenX was a Hole-in-One sponsor of the annual Golfing Fore Habitat Golf Tournament on November 4th, an event benefiting Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas and West Pasco Counties. Team members Bill Schaphorst, Amy Abril, Roberto Pajon, and Jorge Bravo represented MaintenX, shooting 61 for a top-5 finish while donating an additional $500 to the charity at the event.

The tournament raised more than $100,000 for Habitat for Humanity, which is dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally and worldwide through constructing, rehabilitating and preserving homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help people improve their shelter conditions.
Habitat does not give away homes, a common misconception; home recipients must meet certain financial criteria, participate in home buying courses, contribute to construction labor and be able to provide a down payment in order to qualify for the interest free loan on their new home.
