In the process, TaskUs will be creating thousands of new jobs and helping domestic economies return to normalcy faster. “We wanted to retain the same level of accessibility and responsiveness as before, but at a scale, we had never done before,” said Carmela Sais, TaskUs VP of Recruitment for Southeast Asia. “We also wanted to create a friendly experience that would help relieve our candidates of some of the anxiety generated by the pandemic.” TaskUs has taken other measures to relieve stress and cope with the consequences of COVID-19. To that end, the company went door-to-door delivering computers and other electronics so that their employees could set up their home offices.
The results have been remarkable:

- Over 97% of frontline employees across the globe are successfully working from home TODAY
- >95% of their Southeast Asia production capacity is currently back online with a WFH model.
- 100% of North America, European and India capacity is online and available for WFH.
- Hiring is still going on globally (through virtual interviews) to fulfill growing client demand.
This initiative demonstrates that with the right tech stack and strategy, large employers can adapt to new WFH practices in a matter of weeks, and in the process help to accelerate the recovery of the economy.
