As the Presenting Sponsor of Honor an Educator, Teacher Created Materials proudly recognizes Lesly Spangler at the event.

Teacher Created Materials (TCM), a leading educational publisher located in Orange County, will spend the day celebrating educators by participating as the Presenting Sponsor of California State University Fullerton’s Honor an Educator annual event on March 7. TCM’s vision as a company is “to create a world in which children love to learn,” and participating in this event truly embraces that vision in a practical way by honoring local educators.

At the annual Honor an Educator event, educators are recognized for their significant contributions and pursuit of excellence in the field of education. “It is inspiring to hear about the incredible dedication and the meaningful ways that these educators are impacting the students and families in the communities where they work,” says Deanne Mendoza, Executive Vice President and Co-Owner of Teacher Created Materials. “Although they deserve far more applause than we can give them today, we are honored to partner with Cal State Fullerton to recognize these amazing educators.”

Teacher Created Materials will present their nomination to Lesly Spangler, fourth grade teacher at Dwight D. Eisenhower Elementary School in the Garden Grove School District. Lesly creates a wonderful classroom environment where students feel valued, respected, and are excited to learn. She serves as a teacher mentor, is on the Instructional Leadership Team and the Grade Level Leadership teams, and is always one of the first to organize and plan instructional events. Lesly also has a heart for the community and for her colleagues, and is always the first to volunteer to support whenever there is a need.

At this year’s event, California State University Fullerton will also honor Dr. Ellen Junn, President of California State University, Stanislaus, with the Distinguished Education Leadership Award; Zoila Gallegos, Assistant Principal at Brookhurst Junior High School and Tracy Siudzinski, Manager of Learning and Development at SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union, with the Distinguished Alumni of the Year Award; Bonnie Gillman, Founder and Executive Director of the Grandparent Autism Network and Family Autism Network Program, with the Distinguished Education Partner Award; Westminster School District with the Distinguished Education Excellence Award; and Dan O.
