Team Multiverse LLC becomes the first esports streaming team to adopt and settle in Frisco, Texas to launch casual gamer community awareness with dedicated experiences
Team Multiverse LLC, an emerging esports content streaming and publishing team, is announcing today its alliance with the Frisco, Texas esports and casual gaming emerging ecosystem.
FRISCO, Texas, Nov. 25, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Team Multiverse members moved from several different states to adopt and commit to the City of Frisco as its new headquarters for a groundbreaking initiative. Through collaboration with the City of Frisco, local businesses, schools and experience tourism, it unifies the community through video gaming as an emerging form of entertainment and education platform.
"As a multicultural team with a US and international following, we are excited to settle in Frisco. The city is innovative, fast-growing and offers an incredible lifestyle balance of live, work, play and learn," observes Yoshiko Kirstein, Team Multiverse team leader. She continues, "This year has been revealing as the gaming industry has seen unprecedented growth due to the COVID-19 epidemic. Although this growth is understandable, given the global isolation and a need for distraction, it also solidifies the reality that esports and casual gaming has reached mainstream interest as a new form of entertainment and community interactions. Now more than ever the need to connect on different levels of interactions is made obvious. A deep understanding of its impact on our community and culture can help foster a positive outcome where entertaining, learning and gaming experiences serve our community's betterment."
Team Multiverse is now engaged with several organizations and the city to bring this message to the community and inspire an entirely new urban development dimension that addresses this new form of expression and interactive experiences. The team also announces its collaboration with Frisco's AC Hotel & Residence Inn by Marriott, where they are based for the next three months, as they work with the local business ecosystem for a permanent and strategic location. "We are looking forward to a great partnership and we are thrilled to have Team Multiverse at our property. This is transformative for our community and we are excited to see support from the City of Frisco in nurturing the esports and gaming ecosystem. On a personal note as a mom of a gamer, the team has brought insights about the gaming industry which helps me better engage and connect with my son," says Kendahl Rasnick, Sales and Marketing Director, AC Hotel & Residence Inn by Marriott Dallas Frisco. "Through our hosting and interaction with Team Multiverse, it has become clear that our hotel and our industry's future will benefit from esports and the growing gaming community," adds Marissa Maguire, General Manager, AC Hotel & Residence Inn by Marriott Dallas Frisco. She continues, "Frisco's hospitality community has a long standing relationship with our sports clients and it is exciting to host Team Multiverse and be a part of the initial growth of the esports industry within our local community."
The National Videogame Museum (NVM) has also partnered with Team Multiverse to expand its representation and outreach to this latest gaming trend. "We are thrilled to work with Team Multiverse. Together we will be providing a new breed of streaming attractions and events that are representative of today's videogaming landscape and community. In fact, to that end we live streamed a tour of the National Videogame Museum facility on Tuesday, November 24 at 4:00pm CT," shares John Hardie, co-founder and Managing Director of the NVM. He adds, "This represents an unprecedented opportunity to bring more awareness to our museum and its core mission of preserving the history of videogames. We are confident that Team Multiverse will help us reach a wider community of gamers who have the opportunity to discover the fascinating history of videogames and learn more about Team Multiverse and their new endeavors in Frisco."
