Tech Day Helps Subcontractors Manage Data
Carol Stream, Ill. (PRWEB) July 25, 2017 -- Subcontractors need to cater to the needs of both the general contractor and the owner—which often means using multiple disparate systems on different projects. This creates challenges within the company. Construction companies need the right software tools to that have the machine intelligence to capture anomalies.
Ultimately, this requires a common data protocol to make it easier to share information and experiences within a system. Information is the crux of creating more productive and profitable construction projects—and it needs to flow seamlessly through the supply chain from the subs, to GCs, to owners.
This will be a key topic of discussion at this year’s Technology Day. The conference will focus on “IT for IT,” helping the industry understand technology and data.
Constructech magazine is pleased to announce Sam Lamonica, CIO of Rosendin Electric, will kick off the day’s events, focusing on helping the industry understand how data can flow seamlessly for all project participants.
The half-day conference will be held on Thursday, August 24 at the Oracle Conference Center in Redwood City, Calif.
