"...The XCELLENCE awards recognize companies and individuals who are achieving remarkable results with unmanned systems technology to benefit our communities.” - Brian Wynne, president and CEO of AUVSI.

MilSource today announced that the Techaya MILTECH 907 MIL-STD Ethernet Switch has been named as a finalist in the Technology Innovation: Communications or Data Connection Solutions category of the XCELLENCE Awards by the Association for Unmanned Vehicles Systems International (AUVSI). Winners will be announced during the awards ceremony at AUVSI XPONENTIAL on Tuesday, Apr. 30 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. CDT at McCormick Place in Chicago. MilSource will be demonstrating the MILTECH 907, along with other ultra-compact communications solutions designed especially for the unmanned vehicle market, at AUVSI XPONENTIAL at booth 3210.

The MILTECH 907, available exclusively in the United States through MilSource, is an ultra-compact, military-grade managed gigabit Ethernet switch that is ideal for UAVs and aerial pods, at just 4.45” x 2.13” x 1.57”. The switch delivers five triple speed (10/100/1000Mbps) ports to connect networked devices, static routing, traffic prioritization (QoS), bandwidth aggregation and security at both port and board level. Designed to meet MIL-STD-461E and MIL-STD-810 810 F/GM, and MIL-STD-1275/704 standards, the MILTECH 907 has been especially hardened to improve ingress, impact and shock/vibration protection.

"The rapid growth of the unmanned systems industry is reshaping our future by expanding business markets, providing consumers with innovative solutions and even saving lives," said Brian Wynne, president and CEO of AUVSI. "The XCELLENCE awards recognize companies and individuals who are achieving remarkable results with unmanned systems technology to benefit our communities.”

XPONENTIAL offers a broad-based and balanced educational program brimming with cutting-edge content and inspirational insights, ranging from policy implications and technical challenges to use cases and best practices across vertical markets and everything in between. The AUVSI XCELLENCE Awards honor innovators in the unmanned systems industry, including individuals and organizations, with a demonstrated commitment to advancing technology, leading and promoting safe operations, and developing programs that use unmanned systems to improve the human condition.

“We are honored to have been selected by AUVSI XCELLENCE Awards as a technology innovation finalist,” said Ronen Isaac, general manager of MilSource. “The MILTECH 907, with its single top-mounted connector and ultra-compact size, is ideally suited for C4ISR and battlefield communications in harsh aerial, underwater and ground environments that necessitate robust unmanned systems technology.”
