TechXpress acquired by two local buyers
San Luis Obispo, CA 93401 (PRWEB) September 24, 2014 -- San Luis Obispo, CA – TechXpress, Inc., a provider of IT services and eCommerce Website solutions, has announced the sale of its assets to two separate parties for an undisclosed amount.
TechXpress’ IT Services division assets were sold to Tim Snyder, one of TechXpress’ longest tenured employees and, most recently, its Chief Technology Officer.
The IT Services division provides full-service IT management to small and medium sized organizations, currently serving approximately 50 clients in San Luis Obispo and Northern Santa Barbara Counties. The division has relocated to 710 Fiero Lane, Suite 14 in San Luis Obispo. All services will continue without interruption, and Snyder will retain the TechXpress company name.

TechXpress’ eCommerce Solutions division assets were to publicly traded company, SpendSmart Networks, Inc. which is based in San Luis Obispo and run by CEO Alex Minicucci. Minicucci 's San Luis Obispo-based company SMS Masterminds was acquired by SpendSmart earlier this year.
The eCommerce Solutions division provides full-service web design, development, hosting, and marketing services, primarily for consumer goods manufacturers and resellers. The division currently serves approximately 50 national merchants with 2.5 million online consumers. All services will continue without interruption, and will operate under a new name, Masterminds Digital.
