TEDCO’s Maryland Stem Cell Research Fund to Present at Biotech Week Boston
COLUMBIA, Md. (PRWEB) August 29, 2018 -- TEDCO, Maryland’s economic engine for technology companies, announced its participation in this year’s Biotech Week Boston. The event is dedicated to accelerating the business of biotechnology through new ideas, science, technology and partnerships. Dr. Dan Gincel, executive director of the Maryland Stem Cell Research Fund, will be a speaker at the event’s Cell & Gene Therapy Bioprocessing & Commercialization session on September 4 at 2:30 p.m.
The four-day festival will take place at the Hynes Convention Center from Tuesday, September 4 to Friday, September 7. The conference offers leading events spanning the drug development value chain, providing access to the most inventive scientific minds and business leaders in Boston and around the world. This year’s event promises more than 500 keynotes, presentations and case studies—with more than 12 leading events, over 5,000 qualified attendees and over 37 countries represented.

Maryland Stem Cell Research Fund (MSCRF) was established by the governor and the Maryland General Assembly under the Maryland Stem Cell Research Act of 2006. The purpose of the fund is to promote state-funded human stem cell research and medical treatments through grants to public and private entities in the state.
