Tekton Ministries Unveils All-New Website to Better Serve Catholic Clients
Carmel, IN (PRWEB) June 18, 2014 -- “The old website served its purpose,” says Richard Sontag, Director of Tekton Ministries Catholic Pilgrimages, Media and Non-Profit Management, “but it was time for a change.”
The change that Sontag referred to is a completely new website hosted by Bluehost.
“One of our employees approached me about the idea of a new website in January,” Sontag said. “I understood how important a website is for a business and knew we had the resources to make it happen, so we went for it.”
Going for it was a good choice, according to Nik Sternhagen, Media Production Associate for Tekton. “We needed a new look that was more compatible with what people are used to seeing these days. While supporting customized graphics, I think we’ve got that now.”
The graphics that Sternhagen referred to “give us a cleaner, crisper look which more effectively communicates who we are and how we run our business,” said Chris Weldon, PR Associate and Social Media Coordinator for Tekton.
The website, http://www.tektonministries.org, “provides our clients with what they expect from a company seeking to promote all things Catholic,” he said.
“Whether it’s a pilgrimage brochure, a landing page for our sample video creations or a launch site for our blog and social media fan pages, current and potential Catholic clients can get it done and get it done easily now,” he continued.
Sontag was pleased with the work that was spearheaded by Sternhagen. “It took a lot of time but in the end, Nik and others created a website that is easy to navigate and efficiently structured for our clients and our employees.”
Is the website finished?
“Yes and no,” said Weldon. “We have everything we need but not everything we want.”
Sternhagen expressed the ongoing work that has to be completed in the creation of an online store.
“By promoting all things Catholic and serving God’s people on their journey of faith,” Sontag remarked, “we want to be able to provide not just pilgrimages but also discounted Catholic books and audio visual materials. We’re also looking at Catholic apparel and giftware.”
Since April of 2013, Sontag has been seeking to grow Tekton Ministries by providing more pilgrimages and establishing video production, graphic design and website design services for Catholic parishes and non-profit organizations.
Says Sontag, “There’s a lot of parishes and Catholic non-profits out there who just don’t have the time or resources to design and produce the digital products that are so common and necessary today. That’s where we hope to be of help.”
