Tellus Design + Build Commences Major Greensleeves Steakhouse Renovation
Redlands, California (PRWEB) December 20, 2016 -- After recent announcements of the purchasing and opening of Greensleeves Steakhouse restaurant, Tellus Design + Build has solidified the plan creation and design for a multi-phase renovation of the Redlands landmark formerly known as Joe Greensleeves.
The renovation’s initial phase includes minor cosmetic interior design changes focusing primarily on cultivating a nostalgic, “modern vintage” feel—an important role in community redevelopment. This phase allows for former Joe Greensleeves employees to return to work as soon as feasible for the holidays. The subsequent, major renovation phase is scheduled to begin early next year based on input from the community and building department approval.
From an upper level, posh piano bar to outdoor patio, Tellus Design + Build plans for adaptive re-use of city space to bring the community together. Live music and a rooftop bar will also be woven into the restaurant’s upcoming design plan. A cigar lounge and walk-in humidor, private tasting area, and updated lounge and private event rooms will further add to the Greensleeves Steakhouse ambiance and experience.
“Our ultimate goal is to modernize and redesign the restaurant in a sophisticated way, paying homage to the history and community surrounding this historic building,” says Jesse Fowler, President of Tellus Design + Build. The building, originally constructed in 1892, is one of Redlands’ oldest business buildings and a beloved local landmark.
