NORTHAMPTON, Mass., Oct. 23, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Temp-Pro, a leading manufacturer of industrial temperature sensing devices is actively working with Georgia Renewable Power in two project sites, supplying temperature measurement products for two biomass power plants.
Once online, these biomass power plants located near the Atlanta area will generate 66 Megawatts (MW) to power over 120,000 homes and businesses in the local communities of Madison and Franklin in Central Georgia.
Biomass is a largely underused renewable energy source in many locations throughout the U.S. where agricultural and livestock economies thrive—and biomass power plants can convert organic matter into biogas to generate "green" energy.
Temp-Pro's involvement in these two Georgia project sites include the installation of temperature measurement devices in a variety of equipment, including boilers, turbines, ESP, cooling towers, ash systems, stacks, wood yards, and dryer systems.
Some of the specific temperature devices supplied by Temp-Pro include instrumentation for biomass grate fired boilers, as well as pressure gauges, thermometers, and thermocouples for a variety of applications.
Working on two different sites—brownfield and greenfield projects—Temp-Pro is showcasing its versatility in serving the needs of customers with diverse scopes and site conditions.
