Tempo Semiconductor Expands Sales Channel With EDOM Technology of Taiwan
Austin, TX (PRWEB) December 22, 2014 -- Austin, TX, December 22, 2014 – Tempo Semiconductor is expanding its sales channel in the Asia region via a distribution agreement with EDOM Technology, a professional IC agent and distributor based in Taiwan. This relationship will help Tempo broaden its customer base and take advantage of EDOM's strong technical and business relationships.
Under terms of the agreement, EDOM will distribute Tempo's Audio Solutions, system-on-a-chip (SoC), Audio Hubs and Audio Amplifier products which target mobile phones, tablets, PC/NB and other consumer and industrial electronic products. Tempo will be introducing several new products specifically for mobile phones and tablets in 2015. The explosive growth of digital audio requirements into portable digital audio is driving demand for ultra-low power advanced audio codec Hubs, SoC and power amplifiers, such as Tempo’s. According to market research firm SensiAn, the global demand for audio components is currently at about 3.7 billion units and will reach 7.3 billion units by 2020.
