Testan Law Mourns Passing of Founding Partner Steven Carl Testan
With great sorrow, the Testan Law executive members announce the passing of founding partner, Steven Carl Testan, following his valiant fight against cancer.
WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif., May 20, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- In 1996, Mr. Testan founded the law firm that would bear his name. In the years to follow, under his leadership and the firm's executive members, Testan Law grew to become one of the most prominent nationwide workers' compensation defense firms in the U.S.
Celebrated as a brilliant attorney by peers and colleagues, Mr. Testan proved a mighty force to be reckoned with both in and out of the courtroom. Throughout his career, he mentored many attorneys, including several who continue to serve on the firm's executive member committee.
As a fearless visionary, Mr. Testan served on the Board of Governors of the California Insurance Guarantee Association. He was appointed as Judge Pro Tem for the Los Angeles and Santa Monica Workers Compensation Appeals Board, and was a guest faculty member at the Harvard School of Public Health. In 2011, Mr. Testan was admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States.
Mr. Testan is survived by his wife, Lesley, and two sons who are also attorneys.
The firm will continue to operate as Testan Law.
