ST. LOUIS, Jan. 30, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The 42nd Annual Builders St. Louis Home & Garden Show returns to America's Center Thursday, March 7 through Sunday, March 10. Local companies and hundreds of experts will help homeowners find just what they need to complete their home projects. The Show is produced by the Home Builders Association of St. Louis and Eastern Missouri.
The Builders Home & Garden Show is actually six shows in one, showcasing the latest in Lawn & Garden, Kitchen & Bath, Interior Design, Pool & Spa, New Construction and Home Products. More than 1,400 booths fill nearly 380,000 square feet and provide consumers with an excellent buying opportunity, competitive pricing and side-by-side comparison between companies. Shop patios, pools, lighting, decks, windows, doors, furniture and everything imaginable for the home, inside and out.
See Garden Art. Stroll through more than 25,000 square feet of beautiful gardens and outdoor living spaces with fabulous flowers, fire and water features and the newest ideas and innovations from dozens of companies. The Belgard Challenge will feature the latest hardscape products and design ideas and the opportunity to win a beautiful outdoor brick oven worth $6,000!
Visit the Lifestyle Stage for seminars by gardening author and tomato expert Craig LeHoullier. Audiences will learn how to grow amazing tomatoes and discover the art of growing vegetables in containers and small spaces, as Craig shares tips and techniques from his books Epic Tomatoes and Growing Vegetables in Straw Bales. Local Master Gardeners will present seminars on a variety of subjects, from incorporating native plants in your garden to secrets to growing beautiful roses.
For those in the market for a new home, the New Construction Zone is the place to go to find the home of their dreams, whether they are looking to build or buy. There will be builders for large, small and custom homes, from the mid-100s to 2 million or more, and information about subdivisions from all over the St. Louis metro area. Show visitors can also see two tiny homes, one built by students from the Carpenters Joint Apprenticeship Program and another built for the Veterans Community Project. Both will be used to house veterans.
Visitors can tour two special areas to discover products to enhance their lives and homes. The Top 10 Life-Changing Products display, from Boyce Thompson, is an interactive exhibit where people can test-drive new launches and exciting prototypes. There will be a revolutionary smart home system that works through one switch; a smart mailbox that protects from porch pirates; a modular light system that dances to music; a surveillance drone prototype; and several remarkable robots, including an adorable dog and a personal robot who knows who you are, and more! The New Product Showcase will feature the newest home products. Show exhibitors will display innovative items to enhance the home and yard, save money, and make life more comfortable.
The Home & Garden Show is always a fun destination for the whole family. Mid America Chevy Dealers presents Dock Diving Dog Shows by No Leash Needed. These talented performance dogs will make a splash diving into the pool, flying for Frisbees and showing off their best tricks and obedience. Volunteer to be a part of the show (humans only, please), cheer from the seats and stick around afterward to meet the furry stars of the show! The St. Louis County Parks Children's Garden Club, presented by American Family Insurance, once again offers a variety of free activities for kids. They will enjoy fun, hands-on projects they can make at the Show and take home.
Area homeowners won't want to plan or remodel their kitchen or bath until they visit the Kitchen & Bath Showcase to see the newest styles and design ideas in cabinetry, appliances, lighting, plumbing fixtures and countertops. Shop a wide variety of pools, spas and swim spas in the Pool & Spa Showcase. The Interior Design Marketplace features furniture, window and wall treatments, flooring and accessories from across the country.
The Lawn & Garden Marketplace features a large selection of landscaping materials, equipment and supplies. Lifestyles of the Rich & Famous, the 17th Annual Flower Show, has creative floral arrangements made by local designers and beautiful horticulture specimens. The Flower Show is judged and awards are given. The Flower Show is presented by East Central District, Federated Garden Clubs of Missouri, Inc., National Garden Clubs, Inc., and the Home Builders Association, in cooperation with the Children's Garden Club.

Show hours are Thursday, March 7 through Saturday, March 9, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, March 10, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission price is $10 for adults, $4 for children ages six to twelve, and free for children five and under. Adults can visit the Show after 5 p.m. for just $5! $2 off Thursday and Friday or $1 off weekend discount coupons are available at the Show's website. Pre-purchase tickets online to receive $2 off adult admission any show day and included is a full year's subscription to Better Homes & Gardens (a value of $6).
