The GHT Companies Reaches $10,000 Mark in Vitamin Fundraising Pledge for Feeding San Diego
San Diego-based vitamin and nutraceutical developer and supplier is donating money from specifically designated product sales to leading food rescue organization
VISTA, Calif., June 24, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The GHT Companies, a leading developer and distributor of nutraceutical products based in San Diego County, announced today that it had hit its first fundraising benchmark of $10,000 in its pledge of raising a minimum of $25,000 for Feeding San Diego, a charity whose mission is to connect every person facing hunger with nutritious meals by maximizing food rescue.

In May, The GHT Companies announced special 25% off pricing on 13 vitamin and nutraceutical products popular with health-minded shoppers and 12 of them focused on supporting the immune system. The products included plant-based D3 vitamins in a variety of formats, the UMAC Marine Phytoplankton product line, the specially-formulated Power HI (H = healthy and I = immune), and the new-to-market Pure Vitamin C. All of the above products are found in two of The GHT Companies' Branded Product Lines: Vegan Life Nutrition and Vibrant Nutraceuticals.
Each sale from the 13 products results in a one-dollar donation, and larger donations are in place per kilogram for raw ingredients used in the manufacturing of nutraceutical products. They include the well-known Vitashine Vegan Vitamin D3 Oil and Vegan Vitamin D3 Powder.

The work isn't done yet. The GHT Companies fundraising goal was to hit a minimum of $25,000 at the end of the program.
