The NALA and STARKART Help United Way Offer Disaster Relief to California Wildfire Victims

VENTURA, Calif., Nov. 20, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The recent Hill and Woolsey Fires in Southern California left a devastating path of destruction, burning numerous homes, buildings and more than 110,000 acres in Los Angeles and Ventura counties. In fact, the Woolsey Fire's destructive toll has surpassed last year's massive Thomas Fire, which was at the time the largest wildfire in modern California history.

In order to assist low-income individuals and families affected by the fires, The NALA, a boutique marketing agency, and STARKART, the leader in shopping cart advertising in North America, is donating to the United Way's Southern California Disaster Relief Fund. The fund, created by United Way of Greater Los Angeles in partnership with United Way of Ventura County, will primarily provide longer-term support to help these people rebuild their lives. A percentage of the Fund will also support the American Red Cross® immediate response efforts.
