NEW YORK, Sept. 4, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts (NYCDA) today announced the launch of an articulation agreement with The New School in New York, NY. This partnership enables eligible New York Conservatory graduates to transfer up to 60 credits toward a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts at The New School.

The New School, a private non-profit university with its main campus in New York City, is the only university to house a world-renowned design school, liberal arts college, performing arts college, and legendary graduate programs. Since 1919, the campus has been home to revolutionary thought leaders, change-making social advocates, and ground-breaking artists.
The New School will accept up to 60 NYCDA credits into their Bachelor's Program for Adults and Transfer Students. Students design their own curriculum to contain the additional 60 liberal arts credits, earning a BS degree in Liberal Arts.
The New School joins The New York Conservatory's network of articulation agreements that include Adelphi University and The University of Northern Colorado. The Theater Program at Adelphi University in Garden City, New York admits our Film and Television Performance Program graduates into their B.F.A in Theatre Arts: Acting Program as juniors. The School of Theater Arts and Dance at the University of Northern Colorado at Greeley also accepts NYCDA Film and Television Performance Program graduates into their B.A. in Theatre Arts: Acting Program as juniors. NYCDA graduates must apply and must be accepted by the above partner schools and the respective programs of study through their regular admissions process, which may include auditioning.
