DUBAI, Feb. 22, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Government of the United Arab Emirates launched the (2071 Moonshot) Apprenticeship Program, to attract elite graduates from distinguished universities, colleges, and academic institutions in the world, in order to actively involve them in innovating solutions to the pressing challenges facing governments and to employ their ideas in designing projects and initiatives in the UAE for the next 50 years.
Essentially, the (2071 Moonshot) apprenticeship program aims at evolving the selected associates' skills and capabilities and empowering them to present and develop their proposals and visions, as well as, generating inventive ideas and recommendations for defining and designing the future government. It also seeks to provide graduates with the best skills through this internship opportunity, fast track their careers, grow their competencies, and involve them in shaping innovative solutions for future challenges to be applied in the UAE Government, under the supervision of an elite group of ministers and leading government officials, in addition to experts and specialists from around the world.
Huda Al Hashimi: Investing in minds and talent to develop innovative solutions to challenges
Huda Al Hashimi, Chief of Strategy and Government Innovation of the UAE Government, stressed the importance of investing in young minds and talents in order to develop innovative solutions to future challenges, noting that university and academic institutions graduates represent a driving force for efforts to design the future of governments and that the UAE Government seeks to enable them to bring about the change they aspire to.
Al-Hashimi stated that the apprenticeship program, which is organized by the Mohammed Bin Rashid Centre for Government Innovation and in partnership with the Global Innovation Council, will evolve the skills of graduates from different parts of the world, and build their capabilities in developing proposals and visions aimed at placing the development of societies as a primary focus of work.
Over a period of three months, the apprenticeship program, supervised by Mohammed Bin Rashid Centre for Government Innovation, will offer an interactive platform that will enable associates to collaborate and work together on proposals and pioneering ideas and ensuring their development, as well as, designing experimental models that include break-through and innovative ideas that address long-term challenges, which will then be adopted by the UAE Government.
Applications are open to all distinguished graduates globally and can be submitted on the official website of the Moonshot Apprenticeship and MBRCGI, final application date is on the 28th of February 2021.
