The University of the Ozarks Selects Portfolium's Student Success Platform
The University of the Ozarks has selected Portfolium's Student Success platform to provide all undergraduate students with a way to connect their curricular and co-curricular learning with career opportunities. Ozarks chose Portfolium to support institution-wide retention, graduation, and employment initiatives.
CLARKSVILLE, Ark., Aug. 08, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The University of the Ozarks (Ozarks) has selected Portfolium's Student Success platform to provide all undergraduate students with a way to connect their curricular and co-curricular learning with career opportunities. Ozarks chose Portfolium to support institution-wide retention, graduation, and employment initiatives.
Portfolium's assessment software and ePortfolio network will help students to validate and display skills gained in the classroom. Students will gain the ability to collect artifacts in their ePortfolios and link them directly to learning outcomes tied to assessments completed both in and out of the classroom. Those artifacts and competencies will be searchable by employers via Portfolium's unique Student Success Network and TalentMatch technology.
By utilizing Portfolium BadgeLink, students will be able to earn micro-credentials and digital badges and automatically have them displayed in ePortfolios searchable by employers. The digital badges will be issued within the assessment software with fully-transparent metadata such as learning outcomes, rubrics and evidence of student work. The badges can be used within customizable learning pathways where Ozarks students and educators will be able to track progress in personalized journeys that can directly guide a student from the classroom into a career.

Portfolium will be integrated into Ozarks's First-Year Experience program, following students from their transition into the University of the Ozarks, through their complete undergraduate experience and beyond as alumni.
